Mauro NEWS

Last day in the Bangkok House. Lots of work before the departure to Vietnam.

Preparations for a 3-months intensive course in Vietnam have started. I will be teaching "Introduction to Missiology" in Ho Chi Minh City, February - April 2014. It is the material for one semester but packed into a 3-months course.

It is correct or not to add a personal wish list to this website? I am not sure. The goal of it is to inform and not to collect material goods. On the other side there are people who like to contribute in one or the other form to the mission or to my work. For the moment I decided to add a list of my personal wishes or needs on the Mission News page and here. I hope nobody feels somehow pushed or obliged to take the purse out of the pocket...this is not my intention. Forgive me if I took the wrong decision. If there are negative reactions on it I will take it off again.

After 6 months I left Vietnam with a feeling of deep gratitude for all the nice poeple I have met there.

My departure for Thailand scheduled for 31 January has to be postponed, because the visa has not arrived yet. This gives me the oppurtunity to participate on Vietnamese New Year Tết.

New date for departure: 16 February.

From 10 to 19 January I'll be on a trip to Nord-Vietnam (Hanoi, Cao Bằng, Lạng Sơn, China)

and visit to br. Tuan.
